She played on the school’s varsity team each spring while playing year-round as an individual. Over the last two summers, Isabelle has participated in college programming specifically focusing on the field of medicine.ĭuring the school year, Isabelle practiced tennis two-three hours a day, six days a week and competed in tournaments every other weekend. Isabelle takes advantage of any opportunity she is given, especially if it involves math and science as it will prepare her for a career as an Orthopedic surgeon. She plans to attend Vanderbilt University, School of engineering: Biomedical engineering in the fall. She is a talented artist and started a sticker business on Etsy. At home she practices the piano, works out, reads and creates with crafts. She submitted a video about String Theory and another about CRISPR to the Breakthrough Junior Challenge Competition that encourages students to submit a three-minute video about a science or math topic.Ĭharlotte was an elected class officer, ran on the cross-country team, participated in forensics and wrote and designed layouts for the “Gazelle Gazette”. She sat for the AP Exam that spring and scored a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5. During her sophomore year, she chose to study Environmental Science on her own on top of her full academic load. Charlotte enjoyed the relationships she had with her teachers and engaged in meaningful conversations.Ĭharlotte is constantly challenging herself, setting goals and creating plans to achieve them. She plans to attend the University of Michigan in the fall, majoring in Physics. Due to changes at Sacred Heart this year, Marisa took on even greater responsibility and worked over the summer helping the Dean of Girls organize new student spaces and host New Student Orientation.īeginning in her sophomore year, Marisa stepped up as a student leader for the school’s monthly Focus:HOPE food delivery project, a role that she continues to fill. She was elected as the All-School Representative, the voice of students in all matters and the highest student position. Marisa succeeded in balancing a challenging curriculum with a hectic schedule of leadership, service and athletics.
